Mark White from @armyaggie03 is an Army officer, Texas Aggie, and world traveler having visited 87 countries with aspirations to visit them all.
In this episode, Mark and I discuss different credit card and travel benefits that military families have access to, and an app that Mark used to fund his trip to Brazil while earning points and getting reimbursed for the spend.
For any military families who are able to take advantage of the Military Lending Act, check out some of the premium credit cards such as the Chase Sapphire Reserve, American Express Platinum, and Capital One Venture X. While these cards often have higher annual fees, they are offset by the benefits and travel perks that you receive with each card. Additionally, the Military Lending Act can help waive the annual fees on these cards!
Remember, never ever apply for a credit card through Google, always be sure to ask your favorite friends and travel creators if they have a referral link that you can use to help them earn more points and commissions!
