Oli from @olitravelgeek is a points enthusiast based out of London. He first got a taste of the good life through an unexpected upgrade to business class on Emirates. Looking for a way to get back into business class, he started collecting points in 2017 with his wife and they haven’t looked back since. Each year they collect over 1m points between the two of them, which is quite an achievement given how much more challenging it is to collect points in the UK compared to the US.
In this episode, Oli and I discuss some deeper strategies for earning and redeeming points with Marriott, especially if you are limited with how many points you can earn via credit card sign ups. We also discuss some aspirational Marriott properties.
